This is how it works: Loop the textile rope around a fixed object, e.g. a bicycle stand or a lamp post, and pull the bolt specially developed for Egret through the metal eyelet at the other end of the rope. Then insert the metal bolt into the opening of the (partially) integrated frame lock of your Egret e-scooter. As soon as you have removed the key from the frame lock, your e-scooter is safely parked. The Egret mate by tex-lock is compatible with all Egret models of the new generation (Egret Pro, Egret X, Egret X⁺ and Egret One).

Specially designed for Egret e-scooters and produced in Germany, the cable lock consists of several cut- and fire-resistant high-tech layers and a hardened metal core. Each layer fulfills a special function and protects your e-scooter from theft and attacks with bolt cutters, fire or saws. The braided outer sheath in casual black with application of the Egret logo integrates seamlessly into the elegant Egret design. At the same time, the sheath protects against paint scratches and prevents the lock from rattling during transportation.

The inner core of the Egret mate by tex-lock is made of hardened special steel, the metal of which is harder than that of all conventional cutting tools. The outer layer of the flexible rope lock is formed by the particularly fire- and cut-resistant high-tech fibres, which can easily withstand extremely high abrasion. The combination of soft shell and hard core makes the lock resistant to theft and attacks with bolt cutters, fire or saws.
